In the past, Germany’s development was conditioned by the ideas of the people in this country and will be in future, too. Accomplishment in science and economy, art and culture are linked to designations like “Made in Germany” or “Country of poets and thinkers”.
“Germany – land of ideas” bunches this amount of positive associativities with Germany and simultaneously emphasises sustainability, power output and innovation of the country.
In a Germany-wide competition of more than 1,200 candidates, 365 sites were chosen which will present their ideas and innovations on each day of 2006.
Sites – these are private and public institutions, cultural and churchy facilities, social projects, companies and scientific research centres. |
